It seemed like a good idea at the time……

After approximately 50 years in Health and Social Care between them, my mums thought it was a good idea to pack up and head to Europe with me, Pete, their son and heir. Don’t get me wrong it still is a good idea, it just seems that their lists of “to do lists” seems to be growing, and its only 9 sleeps until we leave the house! And 10 sleeps until we start my European Odyssey!

They keep talking about packing up the car but seem to find lots more things to do rather than actually pack! It won’t take long to pack mine – I seem to have one measly rucksack! Plus a box of kibble (I prefer chicken) and most importantly, a bag of balls!!!! Always good to have a contingency plan!

Achievements today have included creating this literary masterpiece, and attaching the luggage platform to the car…one of them needed a LOT of help!!! I kept out of the way..! We then pretended we were out on the open road, and headed to Buckingham Park – at approx 20 miles/hour. The good news is it didn’t fall off; the bad news is they had to curtail our visit and ball playing to finish this off, pack ski boot bags (allegedly) and have some refreshment…
